L'Ariegeoise is the 5th biggest Cyclosportif in France. It attracts 3500-4000 riders. There are usually three routes of 50km, 100 km and 160km.
The start point is almost always Tarasscon-sur-Ariege and the end point varies, some times with a mountain finish on Plateau de Beille.
On many occasions the route goes directly past the lodge and almost always through Massat our local village where we usually have a feeding station.
Organised by UCI Golden Bike the event is very very well organised with plenty of food and water stations and also it is very well marshalled.
At the lodge we have many cyclists who come to take part in L'Ariegeoise and we are able to transport you and your bike to the start and collect you at the end of your ride and return you to the lodge for your evening Meal. Most cyclists who come , arrive a few days early to gain a little extra training and get to know the area.
Please email if you are interested in booking accommodation and transport to and from the event.
We have provided a click on below to the Ariegeoise website so you can visit it for all the information you may need for the actual event. The dates are usually posted around November time.
