Our Lodge is open all year round.
April is a difficult month to predict, but can be very very lovely and warm. We also have the April showers to contend with, but with Snow still on the high peaks the scenery is all the better. Avg Daily Temp 18c-25c
May is probably one of the best months for cycling in the Pyrenees. The lush green of the new leaves and all the meadows are full of spring flowers. Weather wise, we can still get the odd shower but the days are now getting a lot warmer and the snow is still there on those high peaks. Avg Daily Temp 20c - 28c
June, now we are getting long spring into summer days. Still the meadow flowers are out and with the snow melt the valley rivers are flowing well. The roads are still quiet as we are out of French Holiday season and cycling is superb for visibility at the top of the Cols. Avg Daily Temp 20c - 30c
July can be hot and thundery in the afternoons. Usually little rainfall and we still haven't hit on the French Holiday time so the roads are still quiet and the days are longer allowing for extra cycling time Avg Temp 25c - 35c
August is pretty much the same as July, generally, but we have been known to have Snow!! A bit more of an unpredictable month, plus the roads are a little busier with the French on their happy holidays Avg Temp 25C- 35C
September, all the French have gone back to Paris and the roads are all ours again, September is usually very settled with long sunny days but with slightly lower temperatures, perfect for Cycling. Avg Temp 20c - 30c
October, is also usually very settled and perfect Cycling weather, also with the trees turning to their autumn colours you don not need to got to New England in the USA just come here, very very pretty. Avg Temp 15c - 25c
November and we are getting towards the winter, the trees have lost their leaves and the snow is starting again on the high peaks. We can have some lovely days but also some very cold days. Avg Temp 10c - 20c
